It’s the little (random) things…

Every moment, every day, is so FULL these days and so I have committed to do something weekly that makes me pause. And re-member me! It’s been as simple as:

Having my whip detailed so I had something sparkly to look at upon walking up for my truck.  Check in with This Is It Auto Wash and Detailing. I met them as I walked into class and they were detailing a client’s SUV. Ask for Mike or Gail. 323.682.2392.  They come to your house.  Great service, great job.

Venturing to the other side of the world, “east” to Relaxation Stations.  Suffice to say you lay on a water table fully clothed and you come out feeling transformed.  It’s completely  worth the drive to get there.  An added bonus, Lemon Poppy Restaurant a couple of doors down is phenomenal. – their baked goods are not to be missed.

Or getting my butt whipped into shape by Marine Anton at Barre Belle (thank you, Natalie, for hipping me to it!).

All it takes is a little of this and a little of that, to make a mama balanced and happy.

This program is “us” in science and mathematics. Magnus is starting his 3rd year at Asteme this Fall. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Asteme and it’s founder, Allan Yu.

The director and creator of ASTEME, Allan Yu, has worked as Wildwood’s math discipline coordinator for the last 6 years to help create and develop a unique and dynamic project based learning curriculum. Allan has been a director with the UCLA Math Project and has helped multiple schools on the Westside develop curriculum. He he also now bringing his expertise in curriculum development to the home school community. And Asteme offers all girl classes!
